About Us
Weird Fish It was Autumn 1993 and Doug Tilling was taking a walk along the Cornish coast pondering on how he could break free from the rat race and set up his own clothing company. Stopping off for refreshments and inspiration at one of his favourite watering holes Doug decided he would like to start with a range of authentic T’s with cartoon fish as the graphics, as he looked around the pub at all the old pictures of weird looking fish being caught locally, the penny dropped and Weird Fish was born! Since then Weird Fish has sought to continue the ethos of producing individual, vintage inspired, iconic and hard wearing clothing and to swim free from the shoal. We pride ourselves on seeking out distinctive fabrics such as our iconic Macaroni™, fabrics that allow you to feel as comfortable in our clothes as we know you are in your own skin.
