This Affiliate Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is made by and between Viator, and you, as an affiliate using the service.

• Sites for Adults, hate speech, or other related sites are not allowed
• Affiliates must obtain Viator's prior consent if they wish to send e-mails about the program.
• You can place banners or links within your newsletters, in the content of your site, or in other related web content.
• NOT ALLOWED: All other uses of banners or links, such as newsgroups, chat rooms, ICQ, forums, banner networks, counters, or guestbooks etc. are not authorized.
• NOT ALLOWED: Any media placement in a "Desktop" advertising system. This includes any third party advertising platform that uses a desktop application to display advertisements in any form.
• NOT AUTHORIZED: Any display of a shopping window that is not the result of a click made directly by the end user.
• Failure to comply with these rules could mean the suspension of your collaboration with a complete cancellation of your commissions.
• Fraud is a serious offense, and will be treated as such. Fraud is defined as any action that intentionally attempts to create sales, leads, or clicks using bots, frames, iframes, scripts or manually "refreshing" pages, for the sole purpose of creating commissions. ANY FRAUD OR ATTEMPTS WILL RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF THE PARTNERSHIP AND THE CANCELLATION OF COMMISSIONS.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove parts of this Agreement at any time as well as add, modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. In the event of a material change, we will notify you by e-mail, newsletter or at least 30 days before these changes take effect, at which time you can either accept such changes or withdraw from the service.

LINKING

• You cannot link directly to Viator sites outside of the Admitad platform.
• If you are creating product links, please make sure to take them from the product feed on the platform. Links from other sources may result in canceled commissions because they are identified as coming from another channel. You cannot take content directly from Viator, which is not present on the product feed.
• As an affiliate of the Service, you may place and remove Viator links on your site and in acceptable locations.
• You can place our banners anywhere on your site as you see fit, or in non-spam emails.
• Adult, hateful, or other related sites are not allowed
• Affiliates must obtain prior approval from Viator if they wish to send emails about the program.
• NOT ALLOWED: All other uses of banners or links, such as newsgroups, chat rooms, ICQ, forums, banner networks, counters, or guestbooks etc. are not authorized.

ACTIVITIES

1. Paid search activity (PPC)

Affiliates are not permitted to engage in PPC search activity in order to send traffic to www.viatorcom.fr directly. If an Affiliate is found performing a PPC activity, this may result in foreclosure from the program. Any Affiliate found to be performing a PPC activity will have their participation immediately terminated and related commissions canceled.

Affiliates should also not send traffic through automatic redirects to a page on a website.

Affiliates driving traffic to their own sites must also adhere to the following rules.

a. Using the Viator brand term in the display URL subfolder (e.g. www.affiliate.com/viator) - NOT PERMITTED

b. Using the Viator brand term in the display URL subdomain (e.g. www.viator.affiliate.com) - NOT PERMITTED

c. Use of Viator Trademark or Viator Trademark Spelling Error in Display URL (e.g. www.viator.com.) Or (www.viatorrcom) - NOT PERMITTED

d. Use of the Viator brand in the title of the ad - NOT PERMITTED

e. Use of the Viator brand in advertisement text - NOT PERMITTED

f. Bidding on the term "Viator" - NOT AUTHORIZED

g. Bidding on misspellings or brand extensions (eg "Viator, Vaitor, Viatoor, Viator fr, Viatorcom fr, Viatorcom) - NOT AUTHORIZED

h. Bidding on Viator brand + generic terms (eg “viator tours”, “viator activities”) - NOT PERMITTED

mr. The term Viator and any associated misspellings should be added as negative terms to all paid search campaigns conducted by the Affiliate.

2. Advertising on behalf of Viator

Advertisers are not permitted to conduct any form of advertising on behalf of the Viator brand.

a. Search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc) - NOT ALLOWED

b. Facebook advertising - NOT ALLOWED

c. Twitter advertising - NOT ALLOWED

d. Advertising on Instagram - NOT ALLOWED

e. Advertising on Pinterest - NOT ALLOWED

3. Sites with Discount Codes and Coupons

Viator does not allow Affiliates to promote discount codes. Any affiliate promoting Viator discount codes on their websites or other related channels ie social media, emails will have their participation in the Viator program immediately terminated and associated commissions canceled.

However, affiliates can post the offers on the feed. Affiliates should be clear that this is an offer and not a code.

a. Advertisers must not promote any invented / fabricated discount codes on their site (s) or discount codes designed for use on other channels or for other online advertisers. If you are caught doing this, your participation in the Viator Program will be immediately terminated and the associated commissions canceled.

b. Under no circumstances are advertisers allowed to surreptitiously use i-frames to set cookies on a user's computer.

c. Discount code and offer sites are accepted into the program as long as they do not promote Viator discount codes.

4. Cashback sites

Commissions will not be paid for transactions generated via a code or coupon unless otherwise agreed with Viator. This includes, but is not limited to, staff cuts, student discounts or newsletter sign-up.

5. Sending emails

All emails sent must be signed by Viator.

Marketing tools

Affiliates are required to use only marketing tools provided by Viator (e.g. banners, newsletters, etc.) Any marketing tools that Affiliates require should be produced and / or approved by Viator prior to publication.

Affiliates cannot modify the marketing tools made available on the Admitad interface. Affiliates are also urged not to "hardcode" the banners on their sites so that updates made to the Admitad affiliate platform can take effect immediately. If your site requires banners to be hard-coded, please contact the account team for permission before setting it up. This will allow us to contact you whenever updates are needed.

6. Content / Press releases

All press release content must be signed off by Viator and the Admitad management team before posting to a site. Any press information released prior to approval will be requested to be removed.

PAYMENT OF AFFILIATES

Affiliate commission will be pre-approved after the order has been placed and confirmed by Viator and their supplier. We are able to record all transactions generated by your site, and operate on a 365 day payment window. NB: Some products are subject to a confirmation deadline as they will need supplier approval. Also, commission will be paid after the activity / tour / excursion has been completed - a Viator customer usually books 1 month in advance. If the customer cancels the activity / tour / excursion, no commission will be paid to the affiliate and the sale will be canceled on the Admitad platform.

ANY ATTEMPTED FRAUD OR FRAUD WILL RESULT IN MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION AND VOIDED COMMISSIONS.

CHANGES TO THE SERVICE

In the event of any material change, we’ll notify you via e-mail, newsletter or at least 30 days prior to any such changes taking effect, at which time you may either agree to such changes or withdraw from the Service. 

LINKING

• You CANNOT link directly to the Viator sites outside of the Admitad platform.
• If you are creating product links, please be sure to take these from the product feed. Links taken from other sources may result in commissions being declined as they are identified as coming from a different channel. You CANNOT take content directly from Viator, which is not present on the product feed.
• As an Affiliate of the Service, you may place and remove Viator Links on Your site and in acceptable locations. 
• You place our banners anywhere on your site as you see fit, or within non-spam emails.
• Adult, Hate, or other related sites are not allowed
• Any page containing our links, banners, or code must be written in English

1. Pay Per Click search activity

Affiliates ARE NOT PERMITTED to carry out any PPC search activity sending traffic to www.viator.com directly. If an affiliate is found running PPC activity, this may result in them being removed from the program. Any affiliate found running PPC Activity will see their participation terminated immediately and any related commissions voided.

Affiliates also must not send traffic through automatic redirects on a website page.

Affiliates generating traffic to their own sites must also abide by the following rules.

a. Using the Viator brand term in the sub folder of the display URL (eg www.affiliate.com/viator) – NOT ALLOWED

b. Using the Viator brand term in the sub domain of the display URL (eg www.viator.affiliate.com) – NOT ALLOWED

c. Using the Viator brand or a misspelling of the Viator brand in the display URL (eg www.viator.com.) or (www.viatorrcom) – NOT ALLOWED

d. Using the Viator brand in the ad title – NOT ALLOWED

e. Using the Viator brand in the ad text – NOT ALLOWED

f. Bid on the brand term “Viator” – NOT ALLOWED

g. Bid on misspellings or extensions of the brand (eg “Viator, Vaitor, Viatoor, Viator uk, Viatorcom,uk, Viatorcom) – NOT ALLOWED

h. Bid on Viator brand + generic terms (eg “viator tours”, "viator activities") - NOT ALLOWED

i. Advertise as the brand  i.e. FB - NOT ALLOWED

j. Bid on the advertisers URL www.viator.com, es.viator.com, viatorcom.de, viatorcom.fr, br.viator.com, viatorcom.nl, viatorcom.se, viatorcom.no, viatorcom.dk, viatorcom.ja  or any derivations of the URL – NOT ALLOWED

k. Show adverts on competitors’ brands – NOT ALLOWED

l. Please note affiliates are NOT ALLOWED to bid on any variations of the brand name Viator. Bidding on any suppliers on Viator is also NOT ALLOWED (e.g. Dark Rome)

m. Viator and common misspelling should be added as broad match negative terms to all affiliate paid search campaigns.

2. Advertising as Viator

Publishers are not allowed to do any form of advertising as the Viator brand.

a. Search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo etc) - NOT ALLOWED

b. FB advertising - NOT ALLOWED

c. TW advertising - NOT ALLOWED

d. Instragram advertising - NOT ALLOWED

e. Pinterest advertising - NOT ALLOWED

3. Discount code / voucher code websites

Viator does NOT ALLOW discount codes to be promoted on their affiliation program. Any affiliate found featuring Viator discount codes on their websites or other related channels i.e. Social media, Emails will see their participation in the Viator program terminated immediately and any related commissions voided.

a. Publishers must not display made up / invented discount codes on their site(s) or display discount codes that were intended for use in other channels or for other online publishers.  If you are found doing this, your participation in the Viator program will be terminated immediately and commissions voided.

b. Under no circumstances are publishers allowed to surreptitiously use i-frames to set cookies onto a user’s computer.

c. Discount code and deals publishers are accepted in the program as long as do not promote discount codes.

4. Email Marketing

All email marketing must be signed off by Viator.

Creative

Affiliates may not alter any of the creative made available through the Admitad interface. Affiliates are also requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so updates made to those available through Admitad may take immediate effect. If your site requires that banners are hardcoded, please contact the account management team to obtain permission before putting this in place. This will allow us to contact you whenever updates are necessary.

5. Content/Press Releases

All press release content must be signed off by Viator and Admitad management team before going live on any site. Any press information released prior to approval will be asked to be removed.

AFFILIATE PAYMENT

The affiliate commission will be pre-approved after the order has been placed and confirmed by Viator and their supplier.  We're able to track all transactions generated from your site, and operate a 365 day payment window. NB: Some products are subject to a confirmation delay as they will require supplier approval. Furthermore, the commission will be paid after the activity / tour / excursion has been completed – a typical Viator customer books 1 month in advance of travelling.  If the customer cancels the activity / tour / excursion no commissions will be paid to the affiliate and the sale will be cancelled in the Admitad platform.
