KEYWORD POLICY

By promoting thetrainline, the Affiliate accepts TL’s terms and conditions, including but not limited to, the keyword bidding policy. TL reserves the right to remove sales and commissions from any partner found in breach of this policy. 

DISPLAY URL

1.1 The Affiliate cannot include TL’s brand name or variations in the sub folders of the display URLs in the Affiliate’s search engine adverts

1.2 The Affiliate cannot include TL’s brand name or variations in the sub domain of the display URLs in the Affiliate’s search engine adverts

1.3 The Affiliate cannot operate domains which contain TL’s brand name or variations for the sole purpose of driving traffic from search engines

3.1 The Affiliate is not allowed to show adverts on misspellings of TL’s brand name or variations. 3.2 The Affiliate is not allowed to show adverts against TL's URL (e.g. www.thetrainline.com) 3.3 The Affiliate is not allowed to show adverts against TL’s URLs or variations (e.g. www.thetrainline.com, w.thetrainline.com. www.thetrainline.com,etc…) 

4 NEGATIVE KEYWORDS LIST/ TRADEMARKS

4.1 The Affiliate shall add TL brand terms and their variations to the Affiliate’s negative keyword lists, thus preventing the Affiliate accidentally appearing on search phrases which include TL brand terms (and their variations). trainline, thetrainline, train line, the train line,

• Commissions will not be paid on theatre and hotel purchases
  
• Commissions will not be paid on business account purchases 
  
• Commissions will not be paid on all seasonal tickets
  
• Commissions may not be paid on delivery, card payment fees, taxes or any other additional charges
  
• No cashback will be rewarded in case a voucher code has been used. Rail card's rates remain the same.
