Our eBooks are unavailable for affiliate use and the Book People will not pay commissions on these sales.
Delivery is available to the UK and Northern Ireland only.
We have a 21 day return policy so please note that commissions will be confirmed 35 days after the transaction has been generated.
Affiliates are not permitted to sell Book People products through reseller platforms such as ebay, Amazon, Play.com and Gumtree. We reserve the right to cancel commission on orders over £250. Please be aware that if you are ordering on behalf of a school, Book People operates a separate commission structure whereby we offer 10% commission on every purchase made by pupils’ parents and carers through our School Fundraising Scheme. Due to this, we are unable to process commission on orders over £250 for schools through our affiliate partners. Affiliates are asked not to use any variation of the brand name or display URL www.thebookpeople.co.uk for any PPC advertisements in all search engines. We also ask that affiliates do not bid on search terms which include any variation of ‘the Book People’ brand name or the terms ‘cheap books’ and ‘children’s books’. The Book People provides a hand picked selection of best-selling books at up to 75% off RRP with free standard delivery on orders over €55 (worth €7.99).
We have a very high conversion rate (usually between 13-15%) but over the Christmas period it rises to 20%. We offer 5% commission to affiliates, rising to 5.5% for more than 25 sales per month, 6% for more that 50 sales per month.
In addition to the commission, the program has an automated product feed and has a 30 day cookie in place.

PAY–PER–CLICK / PAID SEARCH (PPC) RESTRICTIONS
The Book People acknowledge that internet search engines permit affiliates to pay for certain words, when used in search queries, to trigger the appearance of advertisements or sponsored links. Affiliates are NOT PERMITTED without the prior written consent of The Book People to:
1. engage in any PPC advertising where such advertisements include or use vanity URL’s which feature any trademarks owned by The Book People or its Group or any brand terms, brand permutations and misspellings associated with such Trademarks or The Book People’s business. The Book People’s brand terms include (and are not limited to):

2. use the word "official" in the text of any PPC search–listing or make any reference or suggestion that a user linking to your Web Site is linking to an official The Book People Web Site.
3. copy any element of any PPC search-listing text used by The Book People.
DOMAIN NAME AND CONTENT RESTRICTIONS
1. Affiliates shall not without the prior written consent of The Book People register, apply to register or use any domain name that consists of or incorporates any of the trademarks owned by The Book People and its Group (including but not limited to the names, THE BOOK PEOPLE, BOOK PEOPLE and RED HOUSE).
2. Notwithstanding Clause 1, affiliates may use THE BOOK PEOPLE name (or another Trademark) in any sub–domain or directory folder (for example, thebookpeople.affiliatesite.com or affiliatesite.com/thebookpeople) which points to information and material relating to The Book People business.
3. Affiliates shall not use the terms "official" in the metadata or the page title of any pages within their websites without the prior written consent of The Book People.
Affiliates With Reseller Accounts i.e. Ebay, Amazon, Play.com, Gumtree etc.
1: If you fall within this category, please ensure that you do not sell any products found on The Book People site on any reseller/3rd party site which are subsequently purchased from The Book People. Affiliates found undertaking such activity without prior consent will be excluded from the program and their commissions voided.
