About Us

Our name comes from the small village of “Scotby” on the outskirts of Carlisle where we started in a small garage over 30 years ago. Originally we only sold reconditioned bikes, however as things progressed Scotby Cycles continued to grow. Currently we operate from a large four floor retail premises and are among the UK’s largest stockists of leading brands such as Specialized, Trek and Cannondale to mention just a few.
A significant part of our business is now transacted via the internet. We still take a lot of bikes in part-exchange too. These days most of our part-exchanged bikes get sold on ebay.
Giving our customers a great deal has always been our priority. Everyone wants the best deal they can get, and whether you visit us online or you call to our retail shop great deals are what you will find! But there is more to it than that, we enjoy what we do and want happy customers. The sort of customers that share great experiences with their friends! Restricted PPC Policy
No affiliate should bid on the Scotby Cycles brand name, derivatives of the brand name, misspellings or variations, for example "Scotby Cycles Voucher Code" is prohibited. This includes using the Scotby Cycles domain as the display URL; however it may be used as the destination URL. The brand name may not appear in the ad copy or ad title. Affiliates should negatively match appropriate terms to avoid appearing on these. Affiliates breaking these terms will be suspended from the programme.
