Sara Berman is a luxury fashion womens wear brand established in 1999. Designed by sisters Sara and Amiee Berman- both of whom studied at Central St Martins.
This now cult brand actually started life as a summer project with a range of skirts sold in Harrods and Fenwick Bond Street. The skirts sold out and a brand was born.
Sara and Amiee are true British entrepreneurs and over the past ten years have lovingly grown a cult label into an internationally recognized brand. Today Sara Berman has two branded labels – Sara Berman and Berman Black as well as the Creative Directorship of heritage cashmere house N.Peal.
The signature style is charmingly feminine with a strong edge, - a look which has become widely imitated but never quite replicated. True to their style principles, Sara Berman remains top of their game for the future classics of fashion design.
Sara Berman prides itself on its staunch support of British industry with all tailoring proudly made in Britain. The brands unique style captures all its wonderful English eccentricity. Sara Berman creates beautifully made clothes for those who are never knowingly underdressed.
