Please note the below rules in relation to Protein Works Affiliate Programme. They must be followed at all times, unless prior agreement has been made with Protein Works in writing.

General Restrictions

• Affiliates must not include trademark brand terms in the sub-domain of their website's URL. For example, http://theproteinworks.affiliate.co.uk.
• Affiliates must not purchase or own any domain names related to the trademark terms and its variants in the URL. For example, www.theproteenworks.com.
• Affiliates may use correct spelling of Protein Works trademarked brand terms after the domain of their website's URL. For example, http://www.affiliate.co.uk/theproteinworks.
• Our brand is very important to us, so please make sure you always refer to us as Protein Works.
• Affiliates must not post on any Protein Works social media platform to drive traffic to their webpage. Protein Works social media platforms include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and our blog. Specifically, affiliates must not include in any tweet at any time [removed]

  Pay Per Click

  We invest heavily in search engine advertising and we therefore impose the below restrictions. Any infringement of these rules may see the affiliate suspended and all outstanding commissions declined.

  • Affiliates are not permitted to bid on any trademarked brand terms related to "Protein Works" or "PW". For the avoidance of doubt, this includes all mis-spellings and variations.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, no unauthorised bidding is allowed on trademark brand + discount-related search terms. For example, "protein works discount codes"
  • Affiliates cannot directly link to the Protein Works website.
  • Affiliates may not use the below words in their content/adverts:
  • "Authorised"
  • "Official"
  • "Recommended"
  • Affiliates are not allowed to bid on any of the below terms:
  • "Anabolic"
  • "Cycle"
  • "Ecdysterone"
  • "Ephedrine"
  • "Hormone"
  • "Nitric"
  • "NO2 Extreme"
  • "Oxide"
  • "Stack"
  • "Steroid"
  • "Testosterone"
  • "Tribulus"
  • Affiliates may NOT bid on all generic sports nutrition terms. For example, whey protein, creatine, glutamine, meal replacements etc.
  • Affiliates are not permitted to have any Google shopping activity live using Protein Works products and name.

  Discount/Voucher Codes

  We reserve the right to withhold payment of commission if unauthorised voucher codes are used in an affiliate sale. We appreciate that consumers may use voucher codes that they have found via a site other than that which is awarded the sale and this will be investigated before decisions on commission payment are made. Any affiliate found to be displaying unauthorised codes may also have their commission set to zero until the code(s) are removed. Protein Works follow a de-duping validation process, whereby rewarding the commission to the "last click" of purchase.

  Where voucher codes are issued with an expiry date this should be clearly displayed, and codes should be removed or explicitly marked as expired after this due date unless you are advised otherwise. Any affiliates displaying expired codes without marking them as being expired may be suspended from the programme. Please also ensure that you observe IAB voucher code best practice guidelines.

  * Important Information:

  No commissions or transactions will be validated on sales using a Protein Works Referral Code without prior authorisation from Protein Works under our Free Product Program. See below for more details.

  All invoices for tenancy or bonus agreements must be paid through invoices raised to [removed] Nothing other than standard commissions are paid through Partnerize.

  PPC - Policy Definition

  If publishers promote us via PPC, they will not be entitled to full commission

  If publishers directly link to you website from search engles, they will not receive full commission

  If publishers use our brand name in their display url, they will not receive full commission

  If publishers use our brand name in their paid search title and description, they will not receive full commission

  If publishers add our brand name into their negative keyword list, they will not receive full commission

  If publishers display their ads when our brand name or variation of our brand name are entered as search keywords, they will not receive full commission

  If publishers display their ads when misspellings of our brand name are entered as search keywords(e.g. vodofone) , they will not receive full commission

  If publishers display their ads when your brand name and another word are entered as search keywords (e.g. Vodafone Mobile), they will not receive full commission

  We have a restricted group of publishers who can earn commission on sales generated by brand related terms (contact [removed] any agreed publisher paid search activity, publishers will be paid for sales generated from the following search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing)

  There any specific search terms (keywords) where sales from publisher PPC ads will not be eligible to earn commission

  If publishers place shopping ads on a search engine and link directly to your website, they will not receive full commission

  If publishers place shopping ads on a search engine such as a Comparison Shopping Service (CSS), this activity does not need to be tracked in a separate specific publisher account

  Transaction Terms

  The transaction value that commissions are paid on does not include VAT/sales tax

  The transaction value that commissions are paid on does not include delivery charges

  The transaction value that commissions are paid on does not include credit card fees

  The transaction value that the commissions are paid on do not include gift wrapping or any other service charge

  Commissions will be declined if: order is cancelled, item was returned, customer failed credit check, breach of programme terms and conditions, duplicate order, item was out of stock, other.

  We de-dupe publishers sales against certain online advertising channels: PPC Brand, PPC Generic, Email Advertising, Display Advertising, Direct Partnerships, Price Comparison, In-house Publisher Programme, Other Affiliate Networks
