Founded in 2012 by our mum and daughter team, Julie Blackie and Alice Hall, PB has evolved rapidly over the last ten years and it just keeps getting bigger and better. From what started as an investment of £90 on eBay, that initial pack of six dresses has grown into the daily shipping of 1000 parcels from our warehouse. The rest is history!

After graduating from university with a journalism degree, Alice found herself struggling to land a relevant job in the North East and discovered there was a real gap in the market for selling ultra glam going out dresses at competitive prices. Taking inspiration from her hometown and party city of Newcastle, Alice really tuned into her target customer base and used social media to spread the word about everything the brand stands for. Joined by Julie on operations, the pair set about building the company PB is today based on core values of great quality but affordable products and second to none customer service.
