Brand History

New English Teas wasestablished in 1985 by Anthony Brown, the great-grandson of Brooke Bond Teafounder Arthur Brooke.  Witha deep-seated history in creating fine tea brands, Anthony saw an opportunityfor tea to be developed as a gift item and set about creating a range ofproducts which customers would come to love and cherish all around theworld.

30 years on, Anthony’s desireand passion for delivering excellent quality products is still going strong; weare proudly producing fine quality tea, have built up a myriad of differentcollections and we continue to present our teas in beautifully embossed tins,caddies and cartons.

We believe in ethical trading and overthe years have built strong foundations and great relationships with thefarmers, growers and producers with whom we work in Sri Lanka and India. We arecommitted to supporting and working alongside our friends and partners toensure we continually select and source our products in the best possible wayand with fairness, safety and respect.  

Hereat New English Teas, westrongly believe in giving back and are proud to donate a percentage of ourprofits to a select number of charitable activities and foundations around theworld.  We endeavour to support projects and people particularly in financialor family hardship, where we can truly help to make a difference.
