Affiliate may not bid on any trademark term or any misspellings, variations or derivatives thereof. The following list of keywords must be included in all paid advertising campaigns as negative exact match type: Michelin, Michelin Man, Michelin.com, MichelinMan.com, MichelinTires.com, Michelin Rewards, and any misspelling, variation, or combination thereof in Michelin’s sole discretion (hereinafter, Michelin Terms). Claims such as "authorized dealer" or "official store" may never be used in copy. Affiliates may not utilize or bid on terms, words or phrases that are similar to the Michelin trade names. This includes misspellings, abbreviations, terms identical to restricted trade name but using the wrong case, and the merging of the restricted trade name with other terms, words or phrases.

Affiliates may not promote paid ads for Michelin that are misleading and / or which claim artificial discounts, in Michelin’s sole discretion. Affiliates may only promote ads which state actual promotions offered by Michelin. Affiliates may only promote Michelin’s current promotions that are authorized for Affiliate use and available in the Pepperjam network or listed in our Affiliate Newsletter. Ad copy must be written in such a way that it is not misleading. Ad copy that claims “$70 off set of MICHELIN® tires” is not acceptable. If the offer is a $70 MasterCard® reward card after mail-in rebate on set of four (4) select MICHELIN® tires, ad copy must clearly state “$70 MasterCard® reward card after mail-in rebate on set of four (4) select MICHELIN® tires.”. Affiliates are not allowed to use technology to access, “crawl”, “acquire”, “copy”, “deep-link”, “inline-link” or “page scrape”. This includes the use of “robots”, “spiders” or other automated devices, programs or algorithms. Affiliate domain names can not contain any variation of Michelin Terms, nor can the site resemble MichelinMan.com. Unacceptable Web Sites
Affiliate agrees not to employ any “typosquatter domains” redirecting web traffic to the Affiliate’s link without first notifying Michelin of the use of such domains and registration information pertaining to such domains as Michelin shall specify, prior to commencing the use and following termination of the use of a typosquatter domain. A typosquatter domain is any domain that includes, but is not limited to misspellings of any registered misspelled domains, include, but are not limited to the following: “Michlin.com,” “Machelin.com,” “Mishelin.com,” and “Michelen.com.”
Publisher agrees to not use any software applications including, but not limited to toolbars, adware, spyware, browser helper objects, pop-up downloadable reminder services, cloaking software or technique that redirect the users, or interfere with online tracking or reporting services, and indulge in other inappropriate business practices including but not limited to link rewriting, cloaking, and other covert affiliate practices.
Use of Logos and Trademarks in Web sites
Affiliates may not use images, logos, or text from our websites (including but not limited to MichelinMan.com, BFGoodrichtires.com, or Uniroyaltires.com) without brand approval. All photography, creative and content on our websites is protected by copyright. Affiliates can design their own affiliate creative to submit for brand approval for approved use. Affiliates may only use the links, banner ads, graphics, and logos provided through the Pepperjam platform. Affiliates may edit (resize, color, stretch, flatten, etc.) Michelin affiliate creative to submit for brand approval for approved use. Affiliates may not claim to be a partner of Michelin. If a reference needs to be made, Affiliates may refer to themselves as an Affiliate. Affiliates may not use terms like “us”, “we”, “our” when referring to Michelin. As the Affiliate, you must ensure each of the links between your web site and MichelinMan.com are tagged with the tracking codes that determine commission fees. Michelin will not be responsible for lost commissions due to non-tagged link usage.
