Please note, the McLaren Honda program has a closed PPC policy. Affiliates are not allowed to use the merchant's display URL or any derivatives for any PPC advertisements in all search engines (including brand or generic terms) unless you have been given permission by the merchant or the account manager. Additionally, affiliates are not allowed to bid on any keywords where the words, "McLaren" or "Mercedes" are used on any paid/sponsored ad platform. Affiliates are allowed to use their own display URLs to bid on generic terms. However affiliates are still not allowed to bid on brand terms including misspellings and variations. This applies to all search engines.
Any automatic or direct forwarding via an intermediate-site/redirect to the McLaren Honda Online Store is not allowed.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Websites which include or link to any discriminatory, offensive, antisocial or other such inappropriate material are not permitted to take part in the affiliate program of McLaren Honda, The inclusion of any of the following material is strictly prohibited:

• Pornographic content
• Illustration or support of violence
  
• Discrimination or harassment on grounds of sex, marital or parental status, race, origin, nationality, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender reassignment.
• Promotion of antisocial or illegal behaviour
• Any other anti social offensive or discriminating content

Whenever referring to McLaren Honda, e.g. in website navigations or on product pages, the Affiliate will always refer to the full team brand name McLaren Honda in the exact spelling and not use any short forms for example “McLaren” or “McLaren Honda”.

In all marketing and communications (e.g. banners, product-teasers, e-mail newsletters, print mailings or catalogues whether in electronic or other form) the Affiliate will present itself clearly as the Affiliate and not portray itself as McLaren Honda or any related entity.

For search engine marketing (keyword advertising, site targeting, sponsored links) the Affiliate is not allowed to book or use the stand-alone keywords of “McLaren” or “Mercedes” and any other brands of McLaren included possible misspellings, e.g.:

The placement of McLaren Honda-advertising materials in E-Mails is allowed, subject to the following conditions:

• E-Mails with McLaren Honda advertising are only allowed to be sent to people who have previously consented to receiving E-Mails from the sender (confirmed opt-in or double opt-in).
• Pure advertising E-Mails have to be clearly characterised in the subject of the message.
• Compliance in full with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the acquisition, retention and use of personal information.

The concepts and designs on www.mclarenshop.com, www.mclaren.com and any other website of McLaren as well as any McLaren or McLaren Honda marketing and communications remain the property of McLaren and Daimler AG respectively.

Subject to the approval of the accreditation by McLaren through the affiliate network, McLaren provides Artwork for marketing, i.e. banners. This Artwork will be provided by McLaren at its discretion.

The only modification to the Artwork that is permitted is scaling of size. If scaling the sizes of the Artwork is required, the proportions must remain unchanged.

The Affiliate is not permitted to change the Artwork in any manner whatsoever (e.g. cropping or adjusting via image software such as Adobe Photoshop).

The Affiliate agrees not to use the Artwork or Intellectual Property rights in any advertising, publicity or other such purpose whatsoever save as to promote the official McLaren Honda Online Store and merchandise under the terms and guidelines set out herein or as otherwise advised by McLaren from time to time.

This Agreement does not grant any licence or other rights in the Intellectual Property or Images to the Affiliate save as expressly set out in this Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Affiliate shall not permit or authorise any third party to use the Artwork or any name, logo or imagery of McLaren or the McLaren  team.

For the purposes of this Agreement intellectual property rights shall include, but not exclusively, all patents, trademarks, copyright, registered and unregistered design rights and all other forms of intellectual property of McLaren and its associated companies including, but not exclusively, the livery and design of McLaren’s Formula One cars, the design of the helmets and overalls of the McLaren Formula One drivers and all image rights of the McLaren Formula One drivers (“Intellectual Property”).

McLaren may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if the Affiliate breaches any terms set out herein or otherwise brings McLaren Honda, McLaren, the FIA or Formula One Management into disrepute.

The construction validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If any provision (or part thereof) of this Agreement shall be found to be invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, the invalidity, ineffectiveness or unenforceability of such provision (or part thereof) shall not affect any other provision (or the remainder of the provision of which shall be invalid, ineffective or unenforceable forms part).
