Mamas & Papas is an international premium parenting brand founded in Great Britain in 1981 by Anglo-Italian mum-preneur Luisa Scacchetti.
Like all parents, David and Luisa Scacchetti were filled with excitement when they found out they were expecting their first child. With their Italian roots, they looked to a culture bursting with passion, style and elegance to find beautiful things for their new baby daughter and then their second daughter.
This inspiration led Luisa to set up a boutique baby shop in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK which rapidly grew into one of the best loved baby brands in the Great Britain and around the world. 30 years later, Mamas & Papas is still based in Huddersfield, and together with their two grown up daughters, David and Luisa’s passion for providing parents with beautiful baby things that offer the highest levels of quality, attention to detail and individuality remains unchanged.
In the Year 2010 Mamas & Papas UK granted the Development Rights to Europharma Ltd which forms part of the Michele Peresso Gorup of Companies and to open a number of stores in Malta. The 1st store to open is in March 2011 at The Plaza Center in Sliema.
