Kooples was founded in 2008 by a trio of brothers - Alexander, Raphael and Laurent Elisha, who immediately set the brand's vision for sexy, rock star-inspired clothing with French elegance. Emily Ratajkowski has been the muse of The Kooples since Fall/Winter 2017 and the brand has partnered with her to launch a new handbag collection, the Emily by The Kooples. The collection includes ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, and accessories. In 2017, The Kooples committed to stop using real fur and now exclusively uses faux-fur.
The Kooples is an international company with over 400 boutiques worldwide. The brand launched in the US in 2014. The Kooples is still a family-owned business.
