Now in its 88th year of consecutive service, Hawaiian Airlines is Hawaiʻ'i's biggest and longest-serving airline, as well as the largest provider of passenger air service from its primary visitor markets on the U.S. mainland. Hawaiian offers non-stop service to Hawai'i from more U.S. gateway cities (11) than any other airline, along with service from American Samoa, Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and Tahiti.

Marketing efforts focus primarily on driving active choice of Hawaiian Airlines over the other carriers for our unique experience, with promoting the destination as a secondary objective.

Hawaiian Airlines began service to Sydney International Airport (SYD) in 2004, Brisbane (BNE) in 2012 and Auckland (AKL) in 2013.  This service is operated by its wide-body, 278-seat Airbus A330-200 V2 aircraft, with 18 180-degree lie-flat seats, 68 Extra comfort (extra legroom) seats and 192 Economy seats.
