Fishtec are market leaders within the game and coarse fishing industry, with more than 10 years experience of delivering the highest standard of service. Fishtec are proud to be associated with fishing television personality Matt Hayes.

Fishtec offer a huge selection of premium products from the biggest names in fishing at the lowest prices. Choose from over 10,000 items of fishing tackle and associated gear – to suit every type of recreational fishing fan! Fishtec operate from 100,000 sq. ft of warehouse space to ensure that orders are dispatched on time.

There are high stock levels of all of our products, and our Internet orders are processed daily so that we can ensure that 98% of all orders are dispatched on the same day. Delivery for lightweight items starts at £3.50 within the mainland UK, up to £9.95 for the largest orders (10Kg+).

The Program

Become a Fishtec affiliate and earn 8-12% from every sale that you generate. As our average order value is over £90, commission will be £7-£11 per sale. We are happy to increase this rate of commission to our highest performing affiliates, and are also willing to consider offering prizes for competitions in certain circumstances. Incentive affiliates such as Cashback affiliates will earn 8% commission from every sale and there will not be a tiered structure.

Please note however that commissions are paid on total basket value minus VAT and delivery.

Cookie length is 30 days.

Transactions are validated once orders have been dispatched and the returns period has passed (usually 14 days).

Commission for online orders is paid on final transaction amount after all discounts have been applied.

Linking Methods and Creative

Fishtec provides a variety of linking methods and creative options, including a variety of banners and a product datafeed. We would request that affiliates do not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Webgains interface without prior written consent from The Digital House. Affiliates are also requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so that any creative updates take immediate effect.

In certain circumstances bespoke/co-branded creative, emails or landing pages can be created on request. Please contact The Digital House to discuss this further.

A product datafeed is provided with the most accurate pricing available everyday through the Webgains interface.

Affiliates are requested to make every effort to maintain the most current pricing information in their promotions.

Terms and Conditions

Intellectual Property Rights

Affiliates must respect the intellectual property rights of Fishtec. These rights include trademarks and service marks, copyright and related rights, trade names and domain names, rights to goodwill and rights in confidential information.

If an affiliate infringes these rights, they may be removed from the programme, losing any commissions earned.

Paid Search

Fishtec operate a strict policy on paid search activity. These Terms and Conditions are applicable on any ad platform, including, but not limited to search engines, content networks and social networking advertising placements.

Affiliates are not permitted to bid or appear on brand searches. In order to avoid any broad-match/extended-match issues, affiliates must add Fishtec brand terms and misspellings (including, but not limited to, keywords such as ‘fishtec’, ‘fish tec’, ‘fishtech’, ‘fish tech’, ‘fishtec coarse’, ‘fishtec course’ ‘fishtec.co.uk’, ‘fishtec.com’, ‘fishteccoarse.co.uk’, ‘fishtec-coarse.co.uk’ etc) as negative keywords in all paid search activity.

Affiliates are not permitted to bid or appear on extended or hybrid brand searches (for example: ‘fishtec carp’ or ‘fish tech fishing rod’). Unless explicit permission has been given, affiliates are not allowed to perform direct linking PPC activity to the Fishtec website.

Affiliates are not permitted to use the brand name (including misspells and variations) as a domain or sub domain, however may use the Fishtec brand as a sub folder.

Please note that any affiliate found contravening the T&C’s may have their commissions declined and face suspension from the programme. In extreme circumstances Fishtec reserve the right to immediately suspend any affiliates found contravening these terms and conditions, declining any commissions accrued from the activity.

De-duplication policy

Fishtec operate a 30 day cookie, rewarding sales from customers who return directly to the site after initially being referred by an affiliate. For customers returning via any other marketing channel (including channels such as email, paid-search, other affiliate networks or display advertising) the sale is de-duplicated and the affiliate will not be rewarded. The de-duplication will occur at the time of transaction.
