Affiliate Approvals Chums are happy to work with all types of affiliate promotion and encourage all interested sites to apply. In particular we are looking for sites which are aesthetically pleasing and best reflect our brand values. We do not work with sites that display content that may be deemed pornographic or offensive. 2. URL Restrictions Affiliates are permitted to use the Chums brand terms as an extension of their own URL. For example: www.affiliatecompany.com/chums Affiliates are prohibited from using any of the Chums brand terms, brand term misspelling or similar variations in the main part of any URL domain names. For example: www.chums.co.uk; www.schums.co.uk 3. Brand Term Restrictions No brand term bidding allowed without the expressed permission from Chums/Webgains Affiliate Manager. Chums should be applied as negative match or excluded terms on all keyword or keyword phrases for the purpose of targeting adverts on PPC search engines. Affiliates are prohibited from brand bidding on misspells or variations of the Chums brands and catalogues. Do not place your company name, trade marks, service marks, or product names next to (or combine them with) a Chums brand/product name. Affiliates must negative match Chums and all of their catalogue brand names in any terms associated with voucher codes, discount codes and any other variations of these terms. 4. Landing Pages Affiliates are prohibited from misleading consumers into their sites representing themselves or passing themselves off as being Chums or taking any action which is likely to confuse or mislead third parties to believe that the site is part of the Chums brand. 5. Direct Linking Affiliates are prohibited from direct linking to any of the Chums catalogues in any search engine. 6. Voucher Codes Various voucher codes are available for affiliates to use which will entitle new customers only to discounts. Please note that Chums are targeting new customer traffic primarily, which is why some voucher codes are only applicable to new customers. Using “click to reveal” where there is no valid or current code present is prohibited Publishers must clearly detail the voucher offer that will be revealed by the click Any sales made through the affiliate program; where a promotion code is used and the offer has not been communicated for that affiliate to use then the commission will be disqualified. Any breach of the above conditions will result in you being removed from the Chums programme and excluded from all future campaigns.
