Our name comes from the small village of “Scotby” on the outskirts of Carlisle where we started in a small garage over 30 years ago. Originally we only sold reconditioned bikes, however as things progressed Scotby Cycles continued to grow. Currently we operate from a large four floor retail premises and are among the UK’s largest stockists of leading brands such as Specialized, Trek and Cannondale to mention just a few.
A significant part of our business is now transacted via the internet. We still take a lot of bikes in part-exchange too. These days most of our part-exchanged bikes get sold on ebay.
Giving our customers a great deal has always been our priority.
